Render and Plaster Reinforcing Mesh
ProMesh render and plaster reinforcing mesh is ideal for reinforcing render or plaster, particularly around openings or areas of traditional weakness. It can be used to stablilise unstable surfaces, cover and help prevent cracking. It is a flexible lattice made from special woven glass-fibre strands offering incredible strength when embedded into wet basecoat render or plaster.

The illustration opposite guides you through the steps behind ProMesh application:
- Mesh must overlap by a minimum 100mm
- Mesh upstand and downturn at apertures minimum 300mm
- Mesh to be extended past openings a minimum of 500mm
- Solid band areas of blockwork between windows and doors to be fully meshed
- If the ground floor window to damp proof course, DPC, or bellcast bead is less than 700mm then the area must be fully meshed
