Technical Datasheet

Description/ Useage-

ProRend Prep is suitable for application on ProBoard cement particle board and insulation systems. It is spatula finished ready for subsequent application of ProRend Colourtex primer and finish coats.

Colour- Grey
Application-
Site Work-

Scaffolding must be tied independently to allow uninterrupted application. Any faults in the structure must be rectified.

Site Conditions-

Do not apply when substrate/ air temperature is below 5oC or above 30oC. Protect areas before and after application.

Substrates-

All surfaces must be dry, sound, clean, reasonably smooth and free from loose material, oil and grease. Protect fresh render work against weather influences.

Preparation-

Remove soft and loose old render layers. Clean well-fixed layers with a high pressure spraying pistol.

Render Application-

Mix dry mortar ProRend Prep basecoat with tap water. Wait for 10 minutes and mix again shortly. Apply with a trowel in a layer of 4 mm thickness. Remove the top layer after some drying. Each layer must not be thicker than 20 mm. It is also easy to apply by machine.

Coverage-

~1.1 kg/m2 for each mm thickness

Curing/ Drying-

Curing with clean water may be necessary during rapid drying conditions.

Protection-

Cover parts which do not have to be treated with paper and tape. Remove directly after applying the primer.

Cleaning-

All equipment must be cleaned immediately after use with water. Waste material should not be emptied into any drainage system.

Packaging-

25 kg paper bag

40 bags per pallet.

Storage-

Can be kept for 6 months in dry, cool conditions.
