Description:
PROREND FLOAT is especially suitable for application on dense concrete block and sound masonry backgrounds, indoors as well as outdoors. PROREND FLOAT can be either smooth finished, sponge textured or keyed to receive a subsequent coat. It provides an excellent background for all calcareous finishes, tiling and PROREND Coloured decorative renders.
Composition:
High-quality, factory-composed dry mortar according to DIN 18557 and 18550. Grain composition of the sand according to DIN 4226, part 1, grain composition 0 - 1.3 mm. Binding agent according to DIN 1164 and 1060, approved additives, light weight mineral additives, for better workability.
Characteristics:
Lightweight render PROREND FLOAT is a flexible render, easy to apply by hand or machine. Because of the lightweight additives, surface tension between render and background is minimised. After hardening, PROREND FLOAT is weather-resistant and a thermal insulant.
Colours:
Grey

Design, preparation and practical application of external rendering and internal plastering - part 1, external rendering, should be followed at all times.
Sitework:
Scaffolding must be independently tied, to allow uninterrupted application. Any faults in the structure, particularly those which may lead to moisture penetration, must be rectified.
Site Conditions:
Temperature range, 5-30°C. PROREND FLOAT must not be applied to frozen or thawing supports. If the coating must be applied in adverse weather conditions, it is essential to protect both the working area and finish before and after application.
Substrate:
PROREND FLOAT can be applied on to all sound supporting masonry backgrounds. Background has to be free from frost, dust, loose particles, damp, and other pollution which can interfere with the adhesion to substrate.
