FINISHES
Strikotherm offers a range of EWI systems each characterised by a different type of finish coat. The finishes include acrylic, silicate and silicone thin coats and paints, thin mineral mortars and traditional through-colour renders.
The thin coats offer the greatest flexibility and together with the paints the widest range of colours. The mineral mortars provide more traditional textures based on the scraping effect of the aggregates in the finish. Aggregate sizes across the thin coats and mineral mortars range from 1 – 4mm.
In order to establish which of these choices are right for your project the overall aims must be considered.
